There has a big increase of Harry Potter fans.
In my class last year in school, my best friend and I were the only Harry Potter fans. My classmates tease me but I don't care. They don't show any respect for JK Rowling's novels..
Now, this year, my class has produced another Harry Potter fan. I'm not going to say the name. She's just an normal schoolgirl. (Yeah, sure, she's quiet tomboyish.) She goes to a studentcare centre too. Same as me. But our studentcare centres are differnt.
She's now reading Chamber of Secrects. I've asked questions about the book today (Who is Lord Voldemort, Who is Dudley Dursley.) She's answered all in the way JK Rowling wrote them as.. Even though she's just at the second chapter that time.
I've heard from her that her cousin wanted the 2nd and 3rd book. Well, she borrowed the second book from the library, why can't she borrow it to her cousin?
I've heard from her too that she skipped a whole lot. (2,3,4,5 Harry Potter Series books). She's already read the 6th and 7th. She says that she don't understand. (Of course she doesn't!)
I was amazed that she knew how many children Harry had in the end. Well, personally I think that she won't be going crazy for Harry Potter and the movies. Even the actors and actoresses.
I think that she was sensitive enough not to think like me. (I ask her what does "Muggles" mean. She answered "Us". Like, OH MY GOD! She called us Muggles! I thought of myself as a witch this September but nevermine now.)
I hope Harry Potter fans increases as JK Rowling's novels can be the same time as fun, educational and you can learn loads of vocabulary from there. Once I started Harry Potter I can't stop. I first looked at the First Book, I thought it boring. But soon I grew into it.
A few months later then I realised that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was hiding in my shelf! The spine wasn't so clear that it was a Harry Potter book but that time I saw it , it was already 11pm and I needed to go to school the next day. I refused to sleep and read until 1 am. My mother nagged me like crazy. That is when I finally put down the book and slept.
Still at that time , I don't know what does Occulmency meant and that was some kind of big word, isn't it? So I decided to search YouTube. I then realised that there was a seventh book. I wasn't sure but I kept on investigating. That was when I realised that one of my classmates last year (my best friend) had book 2. I borrowed it from her and I continued the 3rd... I borrowed it all from her (once she completed one Harry Potter book her mother bought her a new one. Isn't her mother sweet?) But it was her mother that was forcing her to read.
That was loads of talk, isn't it? I felt like Hermione Granger.

News!
Yup Harry Potter fans.. It's time for Harry Potter news!
I know this insn't the offical news but ...
Anyone knows the article about J.K Rowling copying a book called Willy the Wizard's idea for Goblet of Fire's First Triwizard Tourament Task?
Well, here's the article.
---------------------------------------------
AN author who allegedly invented a Harry Potter-style character years before JK Rowling but died penniless has launched a billion-dollar law suit against the boy wizard from beyond the grave.
Its alleged that in trying to publish his book Willy the Wizard in 1987, English writer Adrian Jacobs approached the same agent who went on to become Rowlings agent.
Jacobs estate last night issued proceedings in the High Court of England against Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, the publishers of the multi-billion dollar Harry Potter series, claiming copyright infringement.
Sydney celebrity publicist Max Markson, who is promoting the action, said the damages could be up to $AU1 billion.
Jacobs created a character called Willy the Wizard in a 1987 book called The Adventures of Willy the Wizard-No 1 Livid Land.
His estate claims that Rowlings 2000 book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire copies it substantially and the publisher Bloomsbury has infringed the copyright.

Mr Markson said the estate was also seeking a court order against JK Rowling herself in order to determine whether to join her as a defendant to the action.
The estate says both books describe the adventures of a main character who is a wizard and both compete in a wizard contest which they ultimately win.
"Both Willy and Harry are required to work out the exact nature of the main task of the contest which they both achieve in a bathroom assisted by clues from helpers, in order to discover how to rescue human hostages imprisoned by a community of half-human, half-animal fantasy creatures, the merpeople in Harry Potter, Mr Markson said in a statement to The Daily Telegraph.
"Many other similarities are described in the Claim filed by the Estate, which include the idea of wizards travelling on trains, famously referred to in Harry Potter as the Hogwarts Express.
"It is alleged that all of these are concepts first created by Adrian Jacobs in Willy the Wizard, some 10 years before JK Rowling first published any of the Harry Potter novels and 13 years before Goblet of Fire was published.
"It is also alleged that, at the time in trying to get his work published, Mr Jacobs sought the services of a literary agent, Christopher Little, who also later became Ms Rowlings literary agent in the Harry Potter series.
The Willy the Wizard book was ultimately published by Bachman and Turner in 1987, however following the stock market crash, Jacobs became bankrupt and died penniless in a London hospice in 1997, Mr Markson said.
"By contrast, today the Potter Brand is a multibillion dollar global entertainment phenomenon."
The Jacobs estate is seeking an injunction to prevent further sales of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and either damages or a share in the profits made by Bloomsbury Plc in selling books that are alleged to infringe Adrian Jacobs copyright.
Estate trustee Paul Allen said. "Because it is not right for the Estate to comment upon matters proceeding before the Court, all we would say is that Adrian Jacobs did not live long enough to see the massive success of the Harry Potter books and films. If he had he would have sought the proper recognition of his contribution to this success story.
"He cannot fight this battle personally so his estate is bringing this action to ensure that his voice is heard. The action, if proved, will ensure the rights of authors everywhere, even posthumously.
